Aurecon approached ID/Lab to develop a wayshowing strategy and associated environmental graphic design for the North Richmond Community Health (NRCH) project.

The demographics of NRCH’s clients call for a wayfinding and information system that 

works for a large culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) group.

Part of the solution are specially designed pictogram storyboards that inform non-English speakers or readers of some rather intricate instructions.

 These storyboards were then tested with the target groups before final implementation.

The signage design is based on the architectural language used by Lyons Architects in the design of the furniture and the building.
